VetExpert VD 4T Hypoallergenic Ultra Dog is a veterinary diet developed for adult dogs with food allergies, intolerances and skin problems. It also works as a diagnostic tool – helping you identify what your four-legged friend is reacting to.
The key lies in hydrolyzed protein from a single source – herring, whose molecules are small enough that the dog's immune system usually doesn't recognise them as an allergen. The recipe is deliberately simple and clean:
- monoprotein from herring – no other animal proteins
- highly purified potato and sweet potato starch as the sole source of carbohydrates
- no plant proteins that could cause irritation
- higher dose of omega-3 and omega-6 to soothe the skin and bring out a glossy coat
The kibble is suitable for dogs with dermatoses, excessive shedding and gastrointestinal symptoms of allergy. You can choose between a 2 kg pack to give it a try and the more economical 8 kg bag. We recommend consulting your vet before long-term feeding.
