Trixie thinning scissors are designed for thinning and reducing thick coats on dogs and cats. Thanks to the double-sided teeth, they shorten the undercoat without disturbing the natural look of the topcoat – an ideal helper for at-home trims between salon visits.

The plastic handle sits comfortably in your hand and the scissors are easy to control even during longer grooming sessions. They are especially suitable for:

• breeds with long, thick coats (collies, retrievers, Persian cats)
• thinning the undercoat during shedding season
• tidying up tricky areas – behind the ears, on the hind legs, around the tail

Work slowly, take small sections at a time, and guide the scissors in the direction of hair growth. After use, wipe the blades with a dry cloth and occasionally add a drop of oil to the joint – this way they will last you for years.
