Sugar beet pulp is an excellent source of highly digestible pectin fibre. It's suitable for all categories of horses and, thanks to its low carbohydrate and protein content, also for older and sick horses or those recovering from illness.
ENERGYS Nature sugar beet pulp from Deheus consists of dried sugar beet residues – a natural source of pectin fibre that the equine digestive system handles exceptionally well. Thanks to its low sugar and protein content, it works even where regular feed isn't an option: for senior horses, horses in recovery, or those prone to gastric ulcers.
The loose texture ensures quick swelling, so preparing a feed ration takes just a moment. The pulp is suitable for a wide range of horses:
- breeding horses, ponies and hobby riding
- horses under medium to high workload
- heavy breeds
- seniors and horses in recovery
Important: the pulp must be soaked before feeding at a 1:4 ratio (pulp:water) – otherwise it will swell excessively in the horse's stomach. Fibre content 200 g/kg, calcium 9.1 g/kg. 20 kg pack.
