Dematting Tool Rake for Dogs and Cats

When your dog or cat has a coat full of tangled clumps, an ordinary brush usually isn't enough. The FURminator Dematting Tool is a rake with sharp curved teeth that untangles matted areas without pulling on the animal's skin.

• combs out tangled and matted fur on dogs and cats
• the FURextender button lets you adjust the blade length to suit the coat type
• ergonomic handle for a comfortable grip even during longer grooming sessions

This rake works well on long-haired and medium-haired breeds, and is great for tricky spots around the ears, on the hind legs or on the tail. Once the clumps are combed out, we recommend switching to a regular brush or deshedder to finish the coat. Work in short strokes and go gently over tangled areas.
