The size M mangrove root from ZOLUX brings a piece of real nature into your aquarium or terrarium. Every piece is one of a kind – with its own shape, twist and texture that no artificial decoration can match. The root has been cleaned and sanded, so all you need to do is soak it and place it wherever you like.

What it's great for:

• freshwater aquariums – a hiding spot for shrimp, catfish and shyer fish
• reptile terrariums – a place to bask and climb
• paludariums and arrangements with mosses or plants

One small note: mangrove gradually releases tannins, which can tint the water amber. Many fish actually thrive in it, but if you want crystal-clear water, add activated carbon to your filtration. Before placing the root, we recommend boiling or soaking it for a few days.
